Helpful stuff, i guess

NOTE: SADX Mod Manager is required!

This custom SDL2 controller config allows a Dreamcast Controller to be used with SF94's SADX Input Mod.

The Smooth Camera mod should be installed for the best experiance. (Without it, one of the poles are reversed)

However, the camera will be forced to be always 8-directional due to the D-Pad being, well, 8-directional.

The Dreamcast Brading/Dreamcast Conversion should be also enabled/installed to have button colors/prompts match up. (optional)

This might work with other USB Dreamcast Controller adapters, but I'm not entirely sure since I only have one.

This also might work with other SDL2 game stuff, but you may have to remove the right stick bindings first.

Some differences to note from the Dreamcast version, and a regular SADX controller setup:

• The left and right triggers are switched around, so that the left is actually rotating the cam to the left and vice versa. However, due to this modification, the pinball flippers are switched around. Therefore, there should be a mod that switches the camera L and R around (currently none).
• The right analog stick controls are combined with the D-Pad so you can still use the first person camera.
• Potentially no camera zoom? (Maybe SADX did not have it to begin with)
• The game's built in controller mapping tool will no longer properly work due to some button called "-1" keeped getting pushed.

I don't think it's too accurate of a controller config to the original Dreamcast version, but I think I got it 80% close.

Installation

To install the config, copy the gamecontrollerdb.txt file into Sonic Adventure DX\mods\sadx-input-mod. Then have your adapter+controller plugged in and then start Dreamcasting, I guess.

This mod is a simple texture edit to dummy out the Menu Button thingamajigs, effectively making the menus somewhat identical to their Dreamcast counterparts.

The main reason I created this mod, is that I felt I could get the game one step closer to being Dreamcast-accurate, even though I don't have good coding skills.

I wanted to to do a Dreamcast HUD positions mod instead, but no one seems to know where those values could be modified using the SA2 Mod Loader.

Copy the 'No Menu Buttons' folder in the zip file into the 'mods' folder.
